Pride Salsa presents Beginner Queer Salsa Dance classes for Queer Folx and Allies by Queer Folx and Allies!!

When? Where?

Sunday 2:30-4:30pm at the LGBT Center in the West Village.

What?

These are drop-in classes on Salsa On2 Fundamentals: great for absolute beginners, folks looking for a refresher course and experienced Salsa On1 dancers wanting to transition into NY Salsa On2.

2:30-2:45pm - Sign in/Check-in
2:45-3:15pm - Rhythm drill and footwork
3:15-4:00pm - Partnerwork
4:00-4:30pm - Open floor to practice, socialize, mingle and make friends.
6:00pm - We go to a nearby bar for happy hour drinks after the Advance Beginner class. Why not?!

Who?

Your instructor will be Vimal (he/him), assisted by Avery (she/her) or Kat (she/her) or Maria(she/her). They have extensive knowledge and passion for Salsa dance with a lot of experience in performing, competing, teaching and social dancing.

How?

Fee is $20. We accept cash, venmo, paypal and zelle before and after class, if you choose to not buy it here.
