Description
Sara Panero is a Spanish dancer and she was born in Salamanca (Spain) in 1993.
For 7 years she has been formed in various disciplines of dance such as ballet, contemporary dance, modern dance, and hip hop.
At the age of 16 she started with Latin dances, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. When she was just 18, and having finished her secondary education in her hometown, Sara went to do the entrance exam at the Conservatory of Dance Fortea (Madrid), to specialize in classical ballet.
She passed for this exam and moved to Madrid. Sara attended three years at the Conservatory of Dance while working and studying Latin rhythms.
In 2012, she began dancing with her first dance partner, Ronald Jara with whom she participated at the Africadançar competition (Lisbon), representing Madrid.
Months after, she joined the “Bachatea Dance Company” and became very successful as a group in bachata competitions at the national level.
In September 2012, Sara became Marco Espejo’s dancing partner. In this same year they won 2 national bachata competitions and created their own professional company of bachata called ‘Esencia’.
In 2013 Marco and Sara were proclaimed as national champions of Bachata couple 4 times. The following year (2014) they became national runners-up with their
professional company ‘Esencia’.
In May 2014, Sara competed for the first time as a soloist in salsa footwork.
The dancing couple Marco and Sara separated. By mid-2014 Sara was called for an audition in which she was finally chosen to be part of “Imperio Azteca”, the professional company of the Prince of Salsa, Johnnny Vazquez. She moved to Milan (Italy) for 6 months.
In March 2015, Sara returned to Spain and continued her solo choreographies and started to work again with her ex bachata group “Esencia”.
In May 2015, Sara was presented as the new dance partner of Albir Rojas. Together they dedicated themselves to the world of Kizomba. ‘Albir&Sara’ finished their collaboration in December 2016 to follow different paths.
Now Sara will focus on new projects and goals based on her unconditional love of dance.
