Bersy Cortez was born in Caracas, one of the main salsa capitals in the world.  When she was 10 years old he began her studies in the world of salsa and dance in general.

At 14 years old began to be a teacher and choreographer in an amateur dance company, after 2 years she was already the main dancer in the most important salsa company in Venezuela “Imagen Latina”, which made her travel the world.

When she was 20 years old, she moved to Spain, where she currently lives. She is the director and choreographer of her own group around the world (Bersy Style and African Mambo) and has danced for some of the best salsa singers in the world such as Oscar D’Leon, El Gran Combo, Cheo Feliciano, Adalberto Santiago, and La Sonora Ponceña among many others.

She has worked with some of the best dancers in the world, among whom the master of the masters Eddie Torres stands out … in addition to starring in several television commercials around the world.

She is one of the most important figures in the world of salsa!  She has worked with one of the most important dancers in the salsa world: Rodrigo Cortazar. Together they were the perfect combination… Currently, she is one of the strongest women in the salsa scene, her passion and support for other women around the world make her even more special and loved by everybody.
