Rafael Barros and Carine Morais are eight-time Salsa world champions. They made first place in the following championships:
- World Salsa Open Brazil (2009/2010)
- Rey Castro Salsa Competition (2010/2011)
- World Salsa Open/Puerto Rico (2010, 2012, 2013)
- Six Degrees/Toronto (2012)
- World Latin Dance Cup/USA (2013, 2014, 2016)
- World Salsa Championship/USA (2016)
With almost twelve years of partnership, Rafael and Carine stand out not only for their refined technique and musicality, but, above all, for the harmony of their dances. Skilled teachers and choreographers, they have taught at the most important dance congresses in Brazil and abroad since 2009. They taught at more than 300 congresses in over 35 countries such as: Argentina, Italy, Guatemala, Uruguay , Chile, Australia, Portugal, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Suriname, Puerto Rico, Canada, Turkey, India, Panama, Bolivia, Costa Rica, China, Canary Islands, Thailand, Spain, Lebanon, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Austria, Singapore, United States, Germany, France, Greece and Switzerland.
They ran their own dance school, Carine & Rafael Dance School, in São Paulo until 2020 and have been organizing the biggest Ballroom Championship in Brazil for seven years: the Brasil Latin Open.
It is also worth highlighting the numerous participations in television programs, both entertainment and journalistic, on Brazilian and international stations, among them: on TV Globo Fantástico, Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, Globo Esporte, Programa do Jô, Rede Record, among other prominent appearances.
